Faremine launches new website and enhances out-of-hours support for travel agents

Leading flight consolidator invests in technology and customer support to improve the travel agent experience

Faremine has launched a new website designed to provide travel agents and tour operators with a faster, more intuitive flight booking experience, alongside enhancements to its emergency Out of Hours (OOH) support service.

The new platform features a completely redesigned interface, offering a more streamlined booking journey and improved functionality across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Developed with usability in mind, the website aims to help agents search, compare and book flights more efficiently.

Among the key enhancements is the introduction of a dedicated Upsell stage within the booking process. The new journey – Shop, Select, Upsell, Book – enables agents to review available ticket upgrade options before completing a booking, making it easier to present additional choices to customers and enhance their travel experience.

The website has also been optimised for mobile and tablet use, allowing agents to manage bookings seamlessly while away from the office.

Alongside the website launch, Faremine has also upgraded its Emergency Out of Hours support service. The enhanced service is now available free of charge to qualifying registered agents who hold a credit account and are registered for Out of Hours support.

The service provides emergency assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring agents have access to dedicated support outside normal business hours in the event of genuine travel emergencies.

Jamil Malik, Managing Director of Faremine, said:

“This is a significant investment in both our technology and our service offering. We’ve listened carefully to feedback from our travel agent partners and have developed a platform that is faster, easier to navigate and designed around the way agents work today. Whether they’re booking from the office, at home or on the move, the new website delivers a much more intuitive experience.”

He added:

“At the same time, we’re continuing to strengthen the support we provide beyond the booking process. By enhancing our Out of Hours service and making it available free of charge to qualifying agents, we’re giving our partners greater confidence that expert assistance is available whenever genuine travel emergencies arise. These developments reflect our ongoing commitment to investing in solutions that help travel agents deliver outstanding service to their customers.”

The website launch forms part of Faremine’s wider programme of investment in technology, customer service and agent support, with further developments planned over the coming months.
